“Every visit to North Mountain Park reveals some form (new or familiar) of inspiration, which soothes my soul! It is both a privilege and a pleasure to sup- port the Nature Center team and their many community partners.” Nala has been volunteering at North Mountain Park Nature Center since 2006. She is an Environmental educator and a favorite member of our volunteer team. Nala has shared her love of birds with the community at Rogue Valley Bird Day and has led many public bird walks here at North Mountain Park. She has volunteered in many capacities with the Bear Creek Salmon Festival, and she’s one of our main bird counters during Project FeederWatch. We’re thrilled to have her help with everything from outdoor education to indoor exhibits.
